Cont’d i don’t care who owns it, i don’t care about “race”. I just hate when ppl try to blame the hair industry on a certain race, in this case, Koreans.

  2. byoung4eva1 says:

I don’t shop at whole foods, i just used that as an example. The health store i shop from is literally named health habit & mostly Africans & African Americans work there, though i don’t know if they own it. Plus i buy most of my hair products from the grocery stores, such as olive oil, & coconut oil things u cant get in a hair store. If the hair stores sold all natural, healthy products, i wouldn’t mind shopping there, no matter who owns it. But they dont, so i don’t have anything to buy. cont

  3. Kiyong Park says:

AND ALSO WHY DON’T YOU DO A DOCUMENTARY ON HOW ALL JEWISH WOMEN STRAIGHTEN THEIR HAIR JUST LIKE AFRICAN WOMEN. JEWISH HAIR IS JUST AS CURLEY.

  4. Kiyong Park says:

MR. RANEN, UR AWARE THAT ALL THE BUILDINGS USED AS BEAUTY STORE, ARE OWNED BY JEWISH PEOPLE. I’VE DONE A SURVEY OF BEAUTY STORES AND CARRYOUTS IN BALTIMORE OWNED BY KOREAN FAMILIES, AND 3 OUT 4 BUSINESSES PAY THEIR RENT TO JEWISH LANDLORDS. SO WHO REALLY IS MAKING MONEY FROM BLACK PEOPLE. WHY DON’T YOU DO A DOCUMENATRY ABOUT HOW YOUR PEOPLE (JEWISH) HAS EXPLOITED THE BLACK COMMUNITY

  5. Kiyong Park says:

HELLO?! JUST ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF “MIDDLE MAN THEORY” WHERE THE FRUSTRATIONS OF BLACK PEOPLE, GIVEN BY THE WHITE ESTABLISHMENT, IS PROJECTED ONTO THE KOREAN COMMUNITY…

  6. Kiyong Park says:

but if you’re buying from whole foods, are you not giving your money to the white establishment. but that’s ok right?

  7. Octavus5 says:

You think a Korean person really said, “we don’t sell to niggers”? C’mon… the words were embellished by the black guy.

What’s more, money talks. No wholesaler would refuse to sell to a business based on ethnicity. It’s silly.

  8. byoung4eva1 says:

It’s not. I’ve quoted this on the other vids, but anyway. No matter if it’s black owned or Korean owned, the products are still bad for our hair. If it was black or korean owned and they sold healthy products then i wouldn’t mind. I went natural almost 3 years ago and i buy most of my hair products from health food stores (like whole foods) or the supermarket. Only time i go to a hair store is to buy hair accessories, no matter who it’s owned by.

  9. Mex1canPapi1 says:

how the fuck is it the koreans fault.. black folks lol ..

  10. sshabazzxify says:

    interesting point

  11. falsedelic says:

This is true but even natural styles require hair care products. Even before the white man came (back) to Africa we wore elaborate hair styles. The hair care industry that caters to white folks is also extremely lucrative irregardless of race. The first challenge is to take control of the financial aspect, we can worry about the style later.

  12. P03ticJustice says:

do you know how many translation programs are out there shit ……no excuse. their hair is generally naturally straight. you say the shit like only white folks have straight hair. come on now be real. when black folks stop making excuses then they will see success.how many of these so called black shop owners even have any asian friends???? hmmmm but they just supposed to fuck with them like that??? hell naw that aint how people work

  13. P03ticJustice says:

bitch i’m sure you have eyes I’m as black as I need to be. if blacks loved them selves more other races wouldn’t have shit like this to hold over us. look at the dumb black bitch in the video. they asked her is she knew there was a black owned shop but the items cost more than the korean store who would she support…….who the fuck you think she supporting and then ya’ll wanna run ya’ll mouth crying poor me.

  14. Lashid4u says:

There are MANY who would say that blacks were better off BEFORE integration laws were passed, and the idea of integration was pushed …Before the Civil Rights era, you had more black homeowners, and businesses …Look up “Black Wall Street”

  15. Rufescent Cherry says:

I think that as blacks we should learn to love our natural hair. Not that extensions, weaves and wigs aren’t bad to have every once in a blue moon. But at least the Korean owned black hair industry wouldn’t be making as much shit of of us as they are now.
They are taking our dignity and our pride and so much more, I totally 100% stand for the Idea for there to be a Boycott.

  16. PearMartini1 says:

No I am not but in the history of blacks in the US, I’m not aware of any other time in history in the US that blacks had it better. If there is a time, I would be very interested in hearing about it.

  17. Lashid4u says:

It’s a business thing, but it BECOMES a race thing, when you choose to not sale wholesale to BLACK businesses, although you will market to black people! You can’t say, “we don’t sell to niggers”, when it comes to wholesale, yet, are willing when it comes to retail! Race has A LOT to do w/ it! ..I can open up a record company, but I only have so much power, when it comes to distribution….getting radio airplay ..it’s like when you compare companies to conglomerates…
    ..

  18. Lashid4u says:

You’re asking black folks, “WHY IS IT ALWAYS RACE W/ BLACK FOLKS?”, but are you asking Koreans the same question, when they decide to keep shit KOREAN ONLY, and not sell to Blacks? BLACKS did not come up w/ the concept of race and racism, yet, you wanna question blacks on WHY we consider race? LOL …Blacks don’t have the luxury to think about race when we feel like it …We are ALWAYS reminded that we are BLACK (ask Obama, who has a white mama), so, that was not a CHOICE for us, dear!

  19. Lashid4u says:

FUCK THAT SHIT! We have already tried working w/ the majority …and I don’t speak for the “minority”, I speak for BLACK PEOPLE! …Oh, and perhaps some of y’all should look up Black Wall Street…

  20. Lashid4u says:

Are you black, first of all?

  21. Lashid4u says:

and ARE YOU EVEN BLACK, trying to tell black people how to consider our dollar and our industry?

  22. Lashid4u says:

WHY is there a WOMEN’s DAY magazine? WHY is there are LOGO channel? …When gays and women pursue their rights, they refer to it as GAY rights! WOMEN’s rights! ..Yet, we’re supposed to just refer to it as “CIVIL” rights! FUCK THAT! ..I’m about BLACK POWER, BLACK RIGHTS, and BLACK MONEY! ..and I shouldn’t have to learn to “read Korean”, when half of those mofos can’t even, really, speak English! (if so, WHY make Korean publications)?.

  23. favm360 says:

Get off your high horse. Unlike English, the Korean language is very difficult to learn. Trust me, I speak 4 languages and one of them being Korean. Is not about blaming other races for “failures”, go read a history textbook and see how blacks have been kept away from moving up the ladder. Is about ethnic solidarity and Koreans not having any (look at the fires of LA). Koreans have straight hair and operate within a Eurocentric paradigm of beauty. Look at the magazines all with straight hair.

  24. favm360 says:

I think the problem is lack of ethnic solidarity across all cultural groups. The Koreans could try to help blacks, but most of them turn a blind eye.

  25. P03ticJustice says:

Why is there a “black dollar” why is it always race with black folks? Black people STOP blaming other races for your failure…..if you cant read korean go learn it. just like they had to learn english when they came here you can do the same
